3 Simple Money goals for '23

ree

It is the beginning of a new year and the enthusiasm is high. Several people are setting goals, making plans and having resolutions. The emotions are positive as they should be. But like every other year, the realities are always around the corner. Soon lots of plans, goals and resolutions would be abandoned as the plot thickens.

Making simple plans and setting just a few goals is the brilliant way to go. In your finances, just a few tweaks here and there would do the trick. Too many, too soon would be unproductive. Here are 3 simple objectives you can pursue, that will make a huge difference in your bank balance this year.

Daily Income Goals. Set a goal for how much (more) you want to earn per day. This would add up weekly and eventually monthly. For most people, this may seem impracticable and impossible. But the truth is, it is possible to make an income daily.

Start to think about it. Seek for ways to make this happen. You would be shocked at what possibilities lie just at the back of your hand or around the corner, if you look closely and intently enough. Set a goal to earn some money daily.

Monthly Money Book. I saw a post on facebook yesterday where the author asked what book we were reading. I liked it and shared, "I am reading 'the million dollar financial advisor'." It would be one of the 4 books I would be reading this month.

Reading this book would improve my practice as an advisor and help me sharpen my core money making skills. Read at least 1 book a month on money, or something that enhances your money making skills. It is a simple thing to do. You would be richer for it. I'd recommend you get my new book 'the simple money book'.

Courses, Workshops & Webinars. Robert Kiyosaki, the famous author of the 'Rich Dad' series once told of a special gift he got his wife, Kim Kiyosaki at the earlier days of thier marriage. It was a course on bookkeeping. Attend a course, webinar or workshop that directly improves your money skills. You cannot attend every event advertised, therefore you must choose the ones that directly impact on your finances or your money making skills.

I would be attending finance industry events that would analyze the trends in the local & global economies. These will help me position my investment portfolio and those of my clients properly for profit and capital growth this year. I would also be hosting 3 workshops this month too: 'Optimizing Business Financial Health', 'Managing Personal Finances' & 'Personal Investing & Investments'. You should make plans to attend.

Do yourself some good and work on these 3 objectives. These simple goals would have a tremendous impact on your finances this year.

Have a prolific year.
